Todd Spiegel, AIA founded Todd B. SPIEGEL/architects, Inc. in May 2004 as a natural evolution of his passion for architectural design and skill in producing quality construction drawings.

TBS/a has gained a reputation as a local resource for design, construction drawings, and permitting services. Through the years, TBS/a has grown and expanded its expertise with a focus towards custom residences, multi-family and senior housing, and sustainable modular construction. Today, the TBS/a portfolio includes a long list of clients and a wide range of project types located throughout California.

Our Vision 

Todd B. SPIEGEL/architects successfully merges both the aesthetic and technical aspects of architecture. Design is the art and Construction is the science, each necessary for the conceptualization and execution of a successfully built project. Design and drawings are done with a real-world understanding of the practice of architecture and construction. This approach is continued during the construction phase of the project using our extensive field experience and close working relationships with Contractors. We take pride in a well-coordinated quality document set which enables the Contractor to build efficiently and cost effectively. We understand that our responsibility is to ensure that the Client takes possession of a project that addresses their aesthetic and programmatic needs and fulfills their quality, budget and schedule requirements.
